NAVTTC-UNHCR Skill Development Program

NAVTTC and UNHCR partnered in 2018 to execute the “Cohort: Livelihoods Enhancement through Vocational and Technical Skill Development” project. The project aims at enhancing the livelihoods opportunities for Afghan refugee, stateless, asylum seekers and host youth by providing vocational skill development trainings and internships opportunities. Under the project NAVTTC & UNHCR have successfully completed vocational and technical Skill trainings for Cohort A, B, C and D from 2019-22 respectively for more than 6,500 refugees and host youth across Pakistan. During the training, the trainees are paid monthly stipend of 3,000 PKR and upon successful completion, the trainees are also provided with the toolkits and certificates to pursue their career smoothly.
