The Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction (MEPR) of the Republic of Uzbekistan is the government authority responsible for employment generation, workforce development, labour market policy, vocational skills development and poverty reduction. The Ministry plays a central role in strengthening the national TVET system, improving workforce competitiveness and promoting international cooperation in skills development and labour mobility.
