The Ministry of Education of the Islamic Republic of Iran is the national authority responsible for school education, technical and vocational education, teacher development and educational reform. Iran has a well-developed TVET ecosystem supported by vocational universities and technical institutes, with recognised strengths in mining, petroleum, engineering, manufacturing and applied technologies.
Current StatusA draft Government-to-Government MoU between the Ministry of Education of Iran and the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, Pakistan, is being finalised.
