In addition to international coordination that is being formally looked after by the AS&IC Wing, the P&D Wing is assigned to coordinate with donors for technical assistance on TVET reforms and uplift. Key donors’ interventions include the following:
United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR)
UNHCR Pakistan in collaboration with NAVTTC has been enhancing its support to Afghan refugees and Pakistani host families in livelihoods development to make a safe and sustainable living through Skill Development Program. Under the program, all selected individuals are provided with marketable skills in reputed technical and vocational education training institutes across the country in order to empower them to meet their basic needs and contribute to their dignity through employment and self-employment. The selected trainees are also paid PKR 3,000 monthly stipend during 06-month training and provided toolkits in NAVTTC’s prescribed trades upon successful completion of training program.
