  • Development and Revision of National Vocational Qualifications
  • Implementation of National Vocational Qualification Framework (NVQF)
  • Revision of Vocational and Technical curricula for traditional training programs
  • Development of Trainee &Trainer’s Manuals
  • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)/ Recognition of Current Competency (RCC)
  • Training of Trainer
  • Establishment of linkage between Industry and TVET Sector (Sector Skill Councils (SSCs)
  • Coordination with GIZ for implementation of TVET Sector Support Program

Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBT&A)

 

The National Vocational & Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) and TSSP are jointly   introducing Competency Based Training and Assessment (CBT & A) in 73 national vocational trades across Pakistan. Competency based training required exactly what a worker should be able to do and must know in order to effectively perform a job in the workplace as per industrial requirements”

  • Outcome-based Contents
  • Ratio of Practical and Theory Contents are 80 % and 20%, respectively

  • Curriculum is decided by industrial experts as per industrial needs and requirements
