Planning & Development
Planning and Development (P&D) Wing is an integral part of NAVTTC that is mandated to explore, evaluate, design, and prepare new plans, programs, projects, and schemes for uplift of technical and vocational training in the country. P&D Wing appraises new proposals, monitors ongoing interventions and evaluates their impact, coordinates international technical assistance. Some of the prime responsibilities of P&D Wing also include devising plans and strategies for training of trainers, country-wide youth skill development programs, apprenticeship system, and suggesting measures for improvement of overall TVET sector in Pakistan. P&D wing is also involved in development of National Skills Information System (NSIS) to provide the stakeholders timely and sufficient information on the available and required skills.
P&D Wing is headed by a Director General who is assisted by 03 Directors, 08 Deputy Directors, 04 Assistant Directors, and support staff. The Wing is comprised of the following sections:
