NAVTTC to develop online verification, attestation of Technical & Vocational Certificates


National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) has decided the online verification and attestation of technical and vocational certificates of skilled youth seeking employment in house and abroad.


The Certification data of All BTEs TTBs, NTB and PVTC will be available online. It will be easy for all recruiting agencies to verify the technical and vocational certificates .Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA)& Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employees (BEOE) will also have  access to this data  for the  purpose of verification.  A committee will be notified in leadership of NAVTTC including all TVET representatives. Committee will present the report at the end of this year.

It is pertinent to mention here that skilled workers desiring to go abroad for jobs are facing difficulty in getting the attestation and verification of their certificates due to unavailability of online data.

To address the issue an online meeting held at NAVTTC chaired by Executive Director NAVTTC Dr. Nasir Khan chaired the meeting to improve TVET certification regime. All TVET stake holders Including Regional DGs of NAVTTC, MDs,TEVTA  Punjab ,Sindh, KPK and Baluchistan .Chairmen from all Qualification awarding bodies ,BTEs,TTBs ,NTB , PVTC and NUTECH also participated. Foreign office and NAB, Multan representatives were also invited.. A Preposition to develop online verification system was agreed upon.

It will become convenient for applicants to get desired verification within 24 hours. It was also decided that all Trade Testing Centers will also become registered with NAVTTC till 31st December 2020, and these trade testing centers will test the workers on National Vocational Qualification Framework (NVQF).It will be a big step to send quality skilled workers abroad for the purpose of employment.
